Adonis Stevenson is a Haiti born boxer but currently representing Canada in the international boxing championships such as (Commonwealth Games) . He won silver medal for the Canada in 2006 Melbourne games . In 2006 , he made professional debut after winning his fight from (Mike Funk). He become Canada super-middleweight title winner after winning the fight against David Whittom . Just year after he become the new champion of (WBC Continental Americas super-middleweight title) in 2008 after defeating Dhafir Smith .
As a professional boxer , he faced 28 boxers so far and suffers defeat only once in his career from (Darnell Boone) in year 2010. Stevenson become the new champion of (WBC, The Ring and lineal light-heavyweight titles) on 8 June 2013 after winning his match from (Chad Dawson). He defended WBC, The Ring and lineal light-heavyweight titles six times successfully .
