Duncan Bannatyne , changed allot of jobs when he is in the age between twenties . When he moved to Stocken - on - Tee's he bought an ice cream van £450 but due to some problems he sold the business for £28,000 and started a new business "Quality Care Homes" which he later sold for "£26 million" .
In October 2008 , he bought an hotel in Hastings name "Bannatyne Spa Hotel". A year later in December he joined the United Kingdom largest monthly business magazine Business Matters as a monthly columnist . Since 2005 to 2015 he was a Dragon on the BBC television series "Dragons' Den" during this period of time he invested couple of business . He is now also part of "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" the fee which he took for participation will be denoted to Operation Smile charity .
